The story begins in the nineties, at a time when on Beliashvili street, now the famous restaurant area, was a real, old water mill. No one knows what fate awaited this historical relic if the current founders of ‘Tsiskvili Group’ had not chosen the place for construction of the first-class Georgian restaurant. The water mill determined the name and the theme. An architect Mamuka Chkhaidze preserved the relief of terrace untouched and turned the natural waterfall and the above-mentioned old water mill into a visit card of this place. The restaurant soon gained popularity. At that time independent Georgia was making the first steps in the development. If the capital had to host the leaders of countries or international organizations with the traditional Georgian hospitality and European service standards it was ‘Tsiskvili’ who entrusted this honorable mission 17 years ago and since then nothing has changed.
