Some time ago, photos of the very beloved and positive grandmother’s and grandfather’s church wedding ceremony were spread all over the social network and gained the love of the community. Who is this special couple and whose idea was that? A photographer Giorgi Toronjadze, also known as “Toro” talks to us.

- I was the first to do this project and it has received a lot of positive feedback since then, and it still has a lot to share, and it has had a lot of sharing from our page. They are my wife's grandparents. Once, when I saw a photo of an elderly couple on a foreign website, an idea came up: “Why not, let's do it!” - and one day my wife and I went to Telavi to her grandparents. We got a weaving crown and bought a very nice second-hand dress, we went to church for wedding ceremony, we took photos at Nadikvari, in Telavi. I was very concerned about this project. It was a big responsibility, but the result really exceeded expectations.

- What was it like working with this special couple?

- It was a little difficult, but as at weddings, I used it here too, taking photos when they thought I wasn't at all. It always helps me catch the true emotion. When the final photos are taken, the couple realizes that I have had taken the perfect photo when they thought I was not getting it and realized they had to believe me. I had the same approach with this couple and it worked.
