- Although it is not necessary for a large part of society, let's start with the tradition and introduce your persona - who is Giorgi Toronjadze, also known as "Toro"?

- Toro is a photographer and now a businessman. I run two businesses – “UJAFO” and “SHTAB”; Also, a lovely husband and a good father – That’s how I would introduce myself.

- What is photography for you? Why and when did you get interested?

- I got interested in photography ten years ago. For the first time, I was taking photos with “Zenit”. I worked for a bank from which I was fired because of job cuts. Back then, finding a new job was not easy and I had a lot of free time. I started taking photos first with "Zenit”, and then I wanted to develop and bought Nikon's camera for up to 800 GEL. For the first time, I worked on my friend’s wedding for free. My second experience was also in my other friend’s wedding, and that’s how I started my career as a photographer.

- Photographers start shooting weddings mainly because of financial need. I know photographers who have lost their charm and seemingly lost their talent in this type of activity. They can no longer take creative photos or even shoot weddings. What does it mean to you to shoot a wedding? Is it an enjoyable process?

- Nowadays wedding photography, of course, is a source of income for everyone, and many began filming it when there was a different picture in the market five years ago, and now it’s occurring very negatively. Many are fake photographers.

For me, shooting a wedding is important. Write a story for a couple that they will never experience again. Like many other photographers like me, I do not like to shoot a restaurant, and it is natural because there is no creative side to it. But everything that happens before a restaurant - from church wedding ceremony to photo shoot - is very important and interesting.

- What is the key to capture a good photo? Couple and their mood, ambience, weather and lighting Can a photographer capture / create a magical image independently of all this?

- To create the perfect wedding image, you need a lot of things, but first of all, a couple who listens to you. They should believe in and arrange a photo session when the lighting is perfect. I call it the ideal light: after 5 o’clock, when the sun is no longer at its zenith, during sunset. There are yellow lights and ideal photos can be captured. There are times when couples do not want to shoot at all (often men), and this is very difficult; Working with an unmarried couple is difficult. In the case of a fun-loving couple, the photos are ideal.

- You must tell us about one of your "projects" that filled the social world with positive emotions. I mean a beloved, old couple.

- I was the first to do this project and it has received a lot of positive feedback since then, and it still has a lot to share, and it has had a lot of sharing from our page. They are my wife's grandparents. Once, when I saw a photo of an elderly couple on a foreign website, an idea came up: “Why not, let's do it!” - and one day my wife and I went to Telavi to her grandparents. We got a weaving crown and bought a very nice second-hand dress, we went to church for wedding ceremony, we took photos at Nadikvari, in Telavi. I was very concerned about this project. It was a big responsibility, but the result really exceeded expectations.

- What was it like working with this special couple?

- It was a little difficult, but as at weddings, I used it here too, taking photos when they thought I wasn't at all. It always helps me catch the true emotion. When the final photos are taken, the couple realizes that I have had taken the perfect photo when they thought I was not getting it and realized they had to believe me. I had the same approach with this couple and it worked.

- Let’s move to your second activity. Why do you think the wedding party has become a trendy outdoor space? It would not be an exaggeration to say that the wedding hall is no longer a "party place". Especially during warm seasons when the weather allows

- In the open spaces, the trend of celebrating a wedding is due to the fact that the older generation, who prefer “restaurant” weddings, can no longer interfere with the generation of children who have realized that instead of getting drunk in restaurant you should spend your special day with your friends and make it memorable outdoor accompanied with astonishing places and atmosphere.

- Tell us how “SHTAB” was made.

- “SHTAB” was made by me and my wife three years ago. Although the houses would be rented for parties, there was still no comfortable space where you could have a good time, where you could freely listen to music, etc. We started our research and found the restaurant called "Nafetvrebi", which we completely transformed into a party space.

Six months later, we found that we have a very good backyard, developed this for the outdoor project "AUZZE". We party outside for three months, then we go back inside "SHTAB".

This year we decided to have "SHTAB" space for our weddings, and the result is well beyond expectations. We had many weddings, a lot more are incoming. In September, we have almost booked everything despite demands It is only 1.5km from Tbilisi, just five minutes away, and yet it doesn't feel like you're in Tbilisi at all - they like it.

- In addition to the wedding, what can this space be used for and how possibly is it available?

- “SHTAB” is a space for all types of parties. Be it a birthday, corporate party or wedding. A good drink, furshet, a photographer, a gif maker. Everything you need to celebrate a good party.
